Parents,
As Director of this awesome Ministry, I am humbled, honored, privileged and excited to stand before you with this great task and calling to lead your teens.
Late in life, I realized that your mind controls your behavior by constructing models based on who you think you are. If your thought process says you are dumb, then you will act dumb. If your thought process says that you are smart, then you will act smart. If your mental model of yourself is limited, your behavior will reflect that. It’s all about attitude and right thinking, which affects your altitude.
A lot of youth today are not living the life God has designed for them and as a result are mentally imprisoned by negative thoughts, negative attitudes and unproductive surroundings. As a result, these things postpone or delay them walking in God’s prosperity. My prayer is that with the help of God, and the leading of the Holy Spirit, we together can participate in helping to redirect the negative to positive. A change in thought patterns and attitudes could result in shackles being broken and freedom from the negative. This, I believe can begin right here at the Parents Corner.
The Parents corner will be updated weekly with Parent Polls, Resources to learn more about what is going on in today's Generation and at schools, Permission slip forms for special events and general events and so much more.
