India McLaurin is the newly elected SWAGG President. She is a junior at Jack Britt High School and her goal is to attend The University of Chapel Hill after she graduate. She has been attending Simon Temple since the summer of 2006 and became a member in full Christian fellowship on March 10, 2008 and was baptized on February 22, 2009. Prior to becoming an acolyte in 2008, She was a member of the energizers for a short duration. A year ago she was elected Acolytes’ President and was promoted to a crucifer, or head acolyte in 2010.
If she could sum up my personality into one word, she wouldn’t really know what to say unless Webster’s came up with a new one. She has a good balance of knowing how to have fun and knowing when to get down to business. It’s not many times that you can’t catch India laughing and showing off her big smile and she will maintain those traits. When it comes to extracurricular activities, she has done just about everything under the sun from dance to karate to marching band so she would say that she is a very diverse person. India has always found it easy to get along with any type of person and never discriminate friendships. India also is a person that tries to help out someone in need whenever possible and those that know her know they can always come to her with an issue and she will do her best to provide help or support. India looks forward to serving under the leadership of our Youth Director, Bro. Anthony O’Neal as the SWAGG President and leading the youth to new levels in a Godly way.
